This is a beautiful graphic picture with many nice compositional balances going on. There is a really great balance of dark and light colors as well as a balance of graphic patterns to real objects. In theory this could be hard to do but the image seems to incorporate these things in a very nice way. I love the way the light colors come in from opposite corners into the middle of the image where the darks create a nice diagonal path. I also like that while the light corners are predominantly one color, the dark area is speckled with bursts of bright colors. I also really like how the images of real objects are so smoothly transitioned into a graphic design. I think maybe the only thing I can say is the light areas are too light compare to the dark? Although I think this was done on purpose and I actually like it. There is a small area in the picture that is blurrier than the rest. The area in the middle with the black and red is a little blurry compared to the rest of the image but this is not that noticeable since the image is so graphic.
This image is an interesting piece to me because it's one of the ones that caught my attention the most when I first saw it on the wall. I really like the colors use as well as how it works with the object within the piece. I like the use of the water at the top because it give you a mysterious feeling of not knowing what's under the water, and once you scan under the water level you see more to it then the ordinary. I also think that you did a great job blending what seems like a rope or tree?? I'm not sure of the object but that's the part that caught my attention the most, the left side of the whole image.
I really like the color because it what make me took another glance at the image before moving on. Eventhough the color isn't the ideal color of the object in the image, it what make the image stood out because it work well with the composition. It also display evenly throughout the page. The water at the top is another interesting part of the image because of the way it is being position. I'm glad you put that at the top, though many of us tend to want to think of water being close toward the bottom (as ground level) it work well being at the top with this image because it give you a sense of dept/demensional feels.
One thing I find doesn't work with me is the bottom right corner. I like the rock being there, but at the same time I'm not sure. Perhaps if you change the values of the object it could blend in with the rest of the object in the image. Maybe make it a little darker, and also to me, I don't think it necessary to have the black block on top of the rock toward the corner because after scanning the image, you get drawn to that spot wondering what it is, questioning if it fit with the other or relate to them. Overall, I really like this piece and I think you did a great job blending the left side, plus the color really make everything in the image as a whole.
There is an interesting variation of colors within the image. The objects used, seem well defined and clear enough to appreciate each that has a texture. There seems to be a range of levels between the rock in the foreground that is lower than the tree in the middle ground and then there is also a background image. this does add to the composition
The background images could possibly be made a little blurry or faded out to give it a slightly distant look. The rocks do look like they could be blended in more also, but with that being said a job well done I think
The image is very well constructed with great use of color, texture and positive and negative space. However the most compelling is the 3 space complex. The composition is clearly broken up into 3 well defined segments which works very well for the overall composition. The addition of many different textures is also very interesting and unique and draws me into the piece. With that being said, there maybe just a little bit too much texture throughout some parts of the piece which might help the composition overall if they were simplified some. The color is used very well in this composition too. The light colors have a path that they create that leads you through the piece discovering new and more interesting things about the composition as you go. However just a small more simplification used could help in the overall composition. Additionally more blending and layering could help in this simplification and in turn enhance the experience that the view has when viewing this piece.
I think this is one of the pictures that gets your attention, because of the color and the tree. I really like the colors in this photo. I like how you did not just have one light spot, you incorperated more cool colors than just what was maybe in the bottom corner or just at the top. I also like how it looks like the cool colors up top is the surface of the water, but when it gets darker its like your looking under water.
Maybe if the tree was a little more bold above the water, it would give it a better effect. Thats about the only thing I would like to see in this photo.
Overall I think this was well put together and I really like what you did with it.
